The Keeshond loves to play and has a lot of athletic abilities like juming. This Breed should have enough space to run around in. They are very smart and learn fast. Some of these dogs are trained to guide the blind. If they were a little bigger they would be used for the blind more often. They are great with kids and most of the time enjoy the presence of other dogs. Their loud bark makes them a good watchdog. The Keeshond is kind to strangers. They do tend to bark a lot.
