The Irish Water Spaniel is an energetic dog. This breed is intelligent, on the ball and are sometimes seen as funny. if trained properly they make excellent family pets and are great with kids. They do however sometimes shy away from new people. Exercise is extremely important for this breed. An owner with trainning experience is also required for the Irish Water Spaniel. As you can see from their name, this breed loves water and must be given time to swim. They excell at it.
