Most people think that Gordon Setters are dumb. This is not the case though, The Setter is in fact a very intelligent dog. This breed enjoys fooling around which is why people portray them as stupid. The Gordon Setter is very devoted to its master but takes a little time to adjust to new people. This breed is excellent with kids except for smaller children. Exercise is required for at least an hour a day. Training is important for this breed to socialize correctly.
