Typical of a hound dog, the Beagle is hard to train. All though the beagle is friendly, it is a stubborn dog which is why taining can be difficult. Excellent with children. Beagles do not like being alone, so two beagle's are better than one. They become very sad when alone. When walking the beagle (which the greatly enjoy) always use a leash. You might never see them again if you don't.
