The Airedale is a friendly, and courageous dog. Due to the fact that the Airedale is naturally born stubborn, you must be strict with this dog, but usually Airedale's love to please and behave. Unless challenged, they get along very well with other dogs. They are good with people. Excellent family dogs, especially with children. They make good guard dogs.
